It gives us immense pleasure and pride to invite you to the 25th WSAVA Continuing Education (CE) India and 18th FSAPAI National Symposium, scheduled from 30th Oct to 1st Nov 2026 at the Ramada by Wyndham Hotel & Convention Centre, Lucknow — India.

This prestigious event brings together veterinary professionals, academicians, clinicians and researchers from across India and around the world to share the latest developments in small animal practice — scientific sessions covering thoracic imaging, surgery, avian medicine & exotic emergencies, hands-on workshops, and a cultural evening celebrating the heritage of Lucknow.

Dr. Clifford R. Berry

Clifford R. Berry

DVM, DACVR · Auburn University, USA

Diagnostic imaging & thoracic radiology — Professor of Practice with 6 teaching awards and 100+ peer-reviewed articles.

Dr. Berry received his DVM from the University of Florida in 1984 (with honors), completed a cardiology residency at Florida and a radiology residency at UC Davis (board certified 1990). He has taught at NCSU, Missouri and Florida, and is currently Professor of Practice, Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine, Auburn University. His research spans diagnostic imaging as a predictor of outcomes and thoracic imaging in small animals. He is an editor of The Textbook of Veterinary Nuclear Medicine, An Atlas of Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging, and Small Animal Veterinary Ultrasound (4th ed).

Avian behaviour & welfare — founder of the parrot walks/picnics and the 5-step behavioural protocol.

Bird-watcher and avian veterinarian since 1982, focused on preventing health-behaviour-welfare problems in birds. Founder/Chairman of the Dutch Parrot Foundation, he has presented 80+ international lectures, contributed to five textbooks and published two books on avian medicine. From 2014–2024 he collaborated with Dr. Irene Pepperberg presenting seminars worldwide, and continues educating veterinary students, colleagues and caretakers.

Former Visiting Professor at the University of Tripoli, Libya. Fellow of the National Academy of Veterinary Sciences and the Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery; recipient of 53 awards for clinical research.

Veterinary cardiology & echocardiography — first Indian vet invited as an international cardiology speaker.

A passionate small-animal cardiology practitioner from Hyderabad, diagnosing and managing 1300+ cardiac-compromised patients at her referral clinic, Hope Animal Clinic. Founder Member & General Secretary of the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society (VCS), which hosted India's first exclusive Veterinary Cardiology Congress. She has delivered 43+ cardiology lectures nationally and internationally, including as WSAVA 2025 Patna's first India cardiology speaker.

Tissue engineering & surgery — 150+ research articles and a design patent in urinary catheters.

Senior faculty, Division of Surgery, IVRI, recognised for contributions to canine & bovine surgery, pain management and tissue engineering of bones and tendons. Guest editor for the Journal of Advances in Animal and Veterinary Sciences, and has guided 25+ PG/PhD students. Holds a design patent for a urinary catheter, with bone grafts, collagen products and nerve gel wraps in the pipeline.

Exotic-animal medicine & surgery — dentistry and orthopaedics in non-traditional pets.

Gold medallist, Bombay Veterinary College (2001), with a Master's in Aviary & Game Bird medicine (2004). Worked as a primate gynaecologist in Mauritius before founding Pawprints Veterinary Clinic in 2009 — now a leading referral centre for exotic animal medicine in Mumbai. Regularly lectures and conducts hands-on training in exotic animal medicine nationally and internationally.
